Dogs & Storks Class: Preparing Families With Dogs for Life With Baby

Dogs & Storks offers positive, practical and fun solutions to prepare your family for life with a dog and new baby under one roof. You will learn about the subtle language of dogs, how to recognize “grumble and growl zones,” ways to handle your dog before and after the baby arrives and what type of supervision is expected with children and dogs.
Additionally, we will help debunk myths and address common concerns to help facilitate a smooth transition for when a new baby comes home.
Dogs & Storks is appropriate for any type of household, whether you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, in the adoption process or are a grandparent, aunt or uncle who has infants visiting. The online workshop is also designed for childcare providers and educators. We strongly recommend taking this class a minimum of four months before welcoming baby.

Presenter Information
Shauna Romero, CPDT-KA, is a licensed presenter of Dogs & Storks and a Family Paws parent educator. Dogs & Storks is an internationally recognized training and coaching program designed for expectant families with dogs.
Arrival
This is a live online class. You can attend via computer or mobile device (smartphone or tablet). You will be sent login instructions in a separate email from your registration confirmation. Please make sure to review the instructions in advance so that you are ready to log in at the start time of the class.

Course Recommendations
This class is designed for expectant parents and those with babies up to the crawling stage and should be taken as early as possible to best address the needs of your dog and your family.
