This online class will cover the standardized on-scene emergency management concept that allows users to adopt an integrated organizational structure for single or multiple incidents without being hindered by jurisdictional boundaries.
At the completion of this course, you will have met the requirement for NIMS (National Incident Management System) 700 and ICS (Incident Command System) 100 and 200. You will also have a basic understanding of HICS (Hospital Incident Command System).
By attending this class, you will be able to understand:
- Principle concepts and features of NIMS/ICS
- Application and use of the HICS elements
- Principles of the standardized Emergency Management System and hospital responsibilities

Classes may be cancelled if there are fewer than five people enrolled. If a class is canceled, you will be notified prior to the start date.
Arrival
Please note this class is being held virtually via Microsoft Teams. You can attend via your phone, computer or mobile device. Please provide your email address during registration. An email will be sent to you with the login and call-in information by the morning of the workshop.
Attendance will be taken at the beginning and end of the class. If you are not present at the end of the class, you will not receive credit.
