NRP Provider Online Course Material
Fee: Free

This Neonatal Resuscitation Program class for Sharp HealthCare employees uses an evidence-based approach to teach newborn resuscitation to health care professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, physician assistants and respiratory care practitioners, who have no previous experience.
Completion of the program does not imply that an individual has the competence to perform neonatal resuscitation.
This class is based on the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and American Health Association (AHA) International Guidelines for Emergency Cardiovascular Care of the Newborn.
Course Requirements:
All students must complete the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (7th Edition) online course material and online written examination in the Sharp Learning Center prior to the date of their instructor-led event (in-person skills testing).
After registering, you will receive an automated email to your Sharp.com address with instructions on how to complete the online content. Once this has been completed, you will be able to enroll for your in-person skills testing directly in the Learning Center.
Participants will receive a two-year electronic course completion card (e-card) from the AAP after their instructor-led event (in-person skills testing).
Instructor-Led Testing Event Dates:
- First Tuesdays from 8 to 11 am and noon to 3 pm, Knollwood Building, Room D (Sharp Mary Birch instructor)
