Qigong Class: Level 2
After a review of the Lohan Qigong forms learned in Level 1, students will be taught the next six forms of the 18 Hands of Lohan Qigong forms originally taught by Shaolin monks in China. These forms provide gentle physical exercise, relieve stress and anxiety, decrease chronic pain, improve sleep and provide a general sense of well being.
This two-day class will be both didactic and experiential. The teacher will provide information about Chinese medicine in general and Qigong in particular. She will demonstrate an additional six forms in the Shaolin tradition of Qigong and then the participants will practice the forms under her supervision. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences while executing the forms and ask questions about Chinese medicine and Qigong.
