The Summerfelt Endoscopy Center at the Sharp Memorial Outpatient Pavilion is a state-of-the-art facility offering diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy services.

When a physician needs an up-close look at a patient's digestive tract, the most effective way to do so is through endoscopy. Using a flexible tube with a miniature lighted camera, a practitioner is able to view the esophagus, stomach, parts of the small intestine, the large intestine, colon and rectum. The procedure is primarily used for diagnostic and disease screening purposes.

Our team.

Patients visiting the center are treated by physicians board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, as well as highly trained support personnel and registered nurses.

How to find us.

Parking is available in the parking structure on Health Center Drive, next to Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns. The first hour is free with validation (available at the front desk); any longer will incur a flat fee of $4.

Due to construction impacting our front entrance, patient drop-off will be at the north side of the building and patient pickup will be in the roundabout in front of Sharp Mary Birch Hospital.
