Brandon Tosspon, Sharp Grossmont Hospital
Brandon volunteered to create and implement a Leader Rounding program to ensure consistent on-site leadership for all shifts at the hospital. He developed guidelines for the program, including scheduling responsibilities, data collection and resources for leaders. His actions led to leaders spending more than 4,300 hours rounding on employees, which has generated numerous opportunities for enhancements for patients, families and team members. Due to its success, this program has become the template to implement for other Sharp entities.
