As a Sharp Community member, you have access to our award-winning network of doctors and high-quality care options that are conveniently located near you.
Your doctor is affiliated with Sharp Community, which means if you have an HMO or Medicare Advantage Plan, you are in Sharp Community's network.
Before making an appointment, call the doctor's office to confirm:
They are taking new patients and work with your specific health insurance plan
What payment may be due at the time of service and forms of payment accepted

Non-covered services
Please be aware that some services might not be covered by your health insurance plan. Some, or even all, of the services you receive may be non-covered or considered unnecessary by the insurer. It is very important to verify your coverage with your insurance provider, as non-covered services must be paid for in full at the time of the service.
Claims submission
Your insurance company might need you to supply certain information directly. It is your sole responsibility to comply with any supplemental requests.

If you have questions or concerns about your statement or need to set up past due balance payment arrangements, please contact your doctor’s office. Contact your health insurance provider if you have specific questions about your health plan and covered services.

Check with your Sharp Community doctor to see if they use Sharp app or another patient portal. Depending on the portal they use, you may have the convenience of managing your health, messaging your doctor's office, scheduling and canceling appointments, viewing test results and more, right from your computer or mobile device.
