About David Antoun, MD

I became a physician to combine my love for science and humanity in a way that I could provide care for as many as come to seek it out. "The care of the patient always comes first." These were the words that rang loudest when I sought to understand what the clinical practice of medicine entailed as a third-year med student. They continue to ring true as the core value that encompasses all. Understanding, compassion, empathy, respect for patient autonomy, are all the consequence of placing the patient at the center of everything I do. I enjoy lifting weights, exploring San Diego and the neighboring counties with my wife and our pup, Juniper.
