About Kiran Mishra, MD

I became a physician because both of my parents are physicians and were amazing role models when I was growing up. I love being able to help people become or stay healthy, and I especially enjoy teaching young children how they can stay healthy. I love working with families and watching their children grow from newborns into young adults. It is a privilege to help parents navigate the different stages of parenthood and an even greater privilege to help children recognize their strengths as they grow into young adults. I believe in the value of prevention of health problems from an early age by establishing proper habits in sleep, nutrition, physical activity and education. I believe strongly in the benefits of vaccines. I also enjoy learning about the latest research and information that affect children, so I can help treat medical issues as they arise. In my spare time, I love to read, listen to music, travel, and spend time in the sun with my family and my two sweet dogs.
