Excellent new primary care internist

Dr Thayer listened to my concerns regarding a full body rash that developed the day before his examination and began his questioning to determine what caused the rash outbreak. After looking at the rash he concluded that I had an allergic rash and started the elimination of things that could have caused the allergic reaction. He knew that it wasn't an infected rash or insect bite rash or food poisoning and asked me if I had taken new medication or used new products on my hair or body. I indeed had used a new scented body wash the day prior to the breakout. He told me to stop using and to get rid of the product. He gave me a steroid injection and prescribed medication for the itching which has helped and the rash is almost gone. I was pleased with how he carefully listened to my concerns and worries about the horrific rash that covered my entire body and how knowledgeable he was regarding the type of rash I had by just looking at it. I was impressed by his patience with me and his explanations of treatment for my condition
