After being interrupted repeatedly by Dr. Nowell I just stopped trying and gave him one word answers. He seemed incapable of understanding that conditions begin and follow an arc of time before a patient sees a pattern and starts to take note. Two or six months in you don't remember the exact date when a particular symptom started. I was writing notes to myself that NO WELL was an apt name for a Dr who was this rude, pompous, and incapable of understanding what he must hear every single day. Eventually, after the exam when no clear neurological issue presented itself, he softened some and gave good explanations about why my symptoms weren't nuero. His thoughts on the vitamin treatment rang true and were thoughtful. He also took the time to offer suggestions for nuero doctors in north county for my sister who does suffer from a nuero disorder. That was very kind. Perhaps we got off on the wrong foot. I was the first patient of the day, maybe he needs to ease in. But I would never recommend him, I was insulted, irritated and put off by his initial demeanor. I LOVE SRS and across the board have outstanding experiences with all staff. EVERYONE goes the extra mile and you feel well cared for and like each one is your new best friend. To be the lone cranky standout isn't a distinction he should relish.
