About Zunera Tahir, MD

I am a rheumatology physician at Sharp Rees-Stealy Sorrento Mesa, where I care for patients with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. I enjoy helping patients better understand their diagnosis and treatment options so they feel supported in managing their health. My clinical interests include rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, giant cell arteritis, musculoskeletal ultrasound and joint injections. I completed my rheumatology fellowship at UC San Diego, my internal medicine residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, and earned my medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. I am board certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Rheumatology. I value building trusting relationships with my patients and providing thoughtful, individualized care.
