Lina Lizarraga

Lina Lizarraga is a lead nurse practitioner for cardiothoracic surgery at Sharp Memorial Hospital.

After graduating from nursing school, Lina worked in the cardiac intensive care unit at Sharp Memorial Hospital, developing a strong interest surgical patient care. She then pursued a master’s degree in nursing and became an acute care nurse practitioner, joining the team in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit.

In her spare time, Lina enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her family — including her three boys.
