The Global Patient Services (GPS) team at Sharp HealthCare coordinates specialty care for international patients using Sharp providers in San Diego.
The Global Patient Services team is a liaison between patients and their families, Sharp HealthCare providers, insurance plans and others who may be involved in a patient’s care — all while delivering personalized assistance and support every step of the way. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional health care experience to patients from around the world.

To request an appointment with a Sharp physician through Global Patient Services, email GPS@sharp.com or call 858-499-4102. The GPS team reviews requests Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm PST. To properly review your request, you will need to include the following information:
Medical referral, clearly stating the need and reason for the requested care
Insurance and/or payer information
Anticipated travel plans timeframe for receiving medical care in San Diego
