Update Your Sharp.com Physician Profile
Sharp.com had 5.6 million visits last year. Don't miss out on this traffic to your profile page.
Patients tell us that they are more likely to choose a doctor with whom they feel a personal connection. To help patients find you online, sharp.com profiles now include an in-depth bio, larger photo and the procedures you perform.
To take advantage of these features, complete a profile questionnaire to tell patients about yourself and your practice.
The questionnaire includes:
- Basic personal info and biographical statement
- Checklist of treatments and medical interests
- Office information (insurances accepted, office hours)
- Photo upload tool
Your profile photo and biography video.
We would like to give your current and future patients the opportunity to get to know you better. Professional photo and video shoots for Sharp-affiliated physicians are happening regularly across all campuses.
Photos take approximately 3 to 5 minutes to shoot. Biography videos take 15 to 30 minutes to film and all interview questions are provided in advance. You will also have the opportunity to review your video before posting to profile page.
If your physician profile is missing a photo, you may upload your own professional head shot at the end of the questionnaire. Or, you can email your photo to email@example.com.
Doctors with a photo and biographical statement will be featured in promos throughout sharp.com.
To be featured on sharp.com and/or to receive referrals through 1-800-82-SHARP, a physician must be in good standing with a Sharp hospital or Sharp-affiliated medical group with an active, associate, provisional or senior status. If you do not meet these requirements, you do not need to fill out the questionnaire.
Any temporary or permanent suspension of privileges will result in the removal of a profile from sharp.com and/or a halt to further referrals being made through 1-800-82-SHARP until such time as the suspension is cleared, and the physician's profile is updated to reflect any changes to the privileges held by that physician at the Sharp hospital or affiliated medical group.
