Your Video Visit With Your Doctor
Now that you've scheduled your video visit with your doctor, let's walk through the next steps.
After you schedule your video visit, you'll receive an email from Sharp HealthCare with the subject line: "Your Sharp HealthCare Video Visit." Keep an eye out for this email, as it will contain information you'll need to attend your appointment.
Getting set up.
Be sure to use a compatible web browser such as the latest version of Chrome, Firefox or Opera. If you would like to have your visit from an iOS device, download the app or find it by searching for "Video Visits" in the App Store. If you are on an Android device, you will use your internet browser.
On the day of your video visit, we recommend you join the visit a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time to ensure your camera and microphone are working properly.
It's also helpful to find a quiet place for your visit so you can be free of distractions and feel comfortable discussing any medical concerns.
Joining your video visit.
When you're ready to join your video visit, open the email and click the link that says "Begin Your Video Visit." This will take you to our Video Visit Waiting Room, where you will be logged in automatically. One of our patient service representatives will welcome you, ensure your connection is good and explain what to expect from your appointment.
