Sharp Memorial Imaging Center at James S. Brown Pavilion

The Outpatient Imaging Center is located on the second floor of the James S. Brown Pavilion at the Sharp Metropolitan Medical Campus. Located in Serra Mesa, the center is a convenient option for those living and working in central San Diego communities such as Kearny Mesa, Clairemont and Tierrasanta.

At the Outpatient Imaging Center at James S. Brown Pavilion, we use state-of-the-art imaging equipment and advanced diagnostic technologies to provide accurate and early disease detection and diagnosis.

We offer a variety of imaging technologies that allow for procedures that are both more effective and less invasive, including:

• 3D tomosynthesis mammography 

• DEXA scan

• Ultrasound

To request an exam, please contact your primary care doctor. Physicians and health care practitioners may use our Imaging Services Requisition Form to print out and fax in exam requests.

Sharp accepts almost all health insurance plans, including Medicare, Medi-Cal and most managed care and private insurance plans. Be sure to check with your insurance company to verify specific coverage. Insurance companies frequently add new plans, and update provider networks and covered services under existing plans.
