About Natalia Babkina, MD, PhD

"I was drawn to medicine because I find solving complex problems and helping people achieve a better quality of life incredibly rewarding. Caring for patients allows me to serve others in a meaningful way, and I believe that improving the lives of others is one of the greatest contributions we can make to society. My practice is guided by evidence-based medicine and a personalized approach that is tailored to the unique needs of each patient. I believe in respecting patient autonomy and recognizing that every individual has different goals, values and circumstances. I am particularly passionate about minimally invasive surgery, as it allows me to provide patients with highly precise treatment, faster recovery and excellent outcomes. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling the world, experiencing art and history, reading nonfiction, and staying active through skiing, sailing and scuba diving. I have also participated in medical mission trips to Guatemala and Kenya, and I hope to one day bring my family along so my kids can experience the importance and fulfillment of serving others."
