About Leyla Eryuzlu, MD
I pursued a career in medicine because of my passion for science and humanities. Medicine is such a unique field where we get to work at the intersection of art and science. I love being able to work with patients and their families, and I cherish and respect the privilege we have as primary care providers to develop a trusting, longitudinal relationship with our patients to optimize their health. I believe in working with my patients as a team to help them reach their health goals. Outside of work, you can find me exploring a new playground with our toddler, playing with our pup at the dog beach, or enjoying one of the many beautiful hiking trails in San Diego.

Absolutely wonderful clinical experience! I had to bring my two children to the visit to see one child and this was no problem. Both were nervous for the child being seen and Dr E made the assessment fun and understood my concerns and allowed my young child to state his concerns in his own words.
