At Sharp McDonald Center, we believe that no one should overcome addiction alone. We offer the most comprehensive hospital-based program in San Diego that crosses the entire continuum of care, from inpatient to outpatient treatment.
As part of our efforts to keep you safe, we have added virtual care options for our programs and decreased the size of groups to adhere to social distancing. Admissions continue to be in person. Sharp McDonald Center
Sharp McDonald Center is a non-profit treatment center that offers treatment to clients who are living with a substance use disorder.
Residents are served three meals a day in a cafeteria-style setting.
Meals are prepared for clients in a fully equipped kitchen.
Snacks and drinks are also included. At this facility, dietary restrictions for clients can be accommodated if necessary.
Taking time to relax and interact with peers is part of the recovery model at Sharp McDonald Center. There is a smoking and a non-smoking outdoor area.
Clients are encouraged to socialize, make connections and practice the skills they learn, while in treatment.
All rooms are well furnished with basic things like personal beds, bedside tables and dressers. There are separate communal bathrooms for both men and women along with the facility of showers.
Sharp McDonald Center provides a continuum of comprehensive care with the help of individualized treatment plans that entirely focus on treating issues related to substance use disorders.
