About Caroline J. Vilchis, MD

Urology is an amazing field that encompasses many aspects of medical care. I am grateful for the opportunity to care for patients dealing with all types of urologic issues and help guide them in making the most informed decisions along the way. My care philosophy is based on excellent urologic care, two-way communication and educating patients to help them make the best decisions. I have been on staff at Sharp Tri-City Medical Center since 2013 and perform general urologic procedures and surgeries. I treat patients with urologic issues ranging from kidney stones, urinary incontinence, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), voiding dysfunction, overactive bladder, prostatitis, pelvic pain and many others. I am grateful to call beautiful San Diego home and never get tired of the beauty of our city. When I'm not working, I enjoy adventuring with my family and kids, who keep me on my toes.
