I decided to become a physician after growing up in a small town with limited access to medical care. Alongside this, my love of learning and desire to help others drew me to a career in medicine. As a board-certified family physician, I provide comprehensive, compassionate, patient-centered medical care. I enjoy providing longitudinal care and collaborating with my patients to improve their health and quality of life. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling and spending time with my family. We love exploring all the beauty San Diego has to offer.

My doctor didn't even discussed about my lab results. The fact that my cholesterol and vitamin D are now back to normal. This is not 1st time I waited for an hour. It seems like she didn't even review my record and was in a hurry to go. She showed me the where to exit. If I didn't ask any question, it would have been a shorter visit.

Very thankful that Dr. DeLoya was firm in directing me to the hospital emergency department for a CT scan regarding her diverticulitis concerns. I feel that totally prevented a more serious infection.
