I decided to become a physician because I love taking care of people and helping people return to their sport or activities. I treat everyone like family, and while I am a surgeon by training, the goal is to avoid surgery for my patients as much as possible. If surgery is necessary, I want my patients to have tried everything they could before reaching that point and feel comfortable and knowledgeable about what to expect when it comes time for surgery and post-op rehabilitation. Outside of work, I am very active myself. Which is why I understand what it means to be injured and how impactful it is to help people to return to their life and activities as soon as possible. I played D1 lacrosse in college and still run every day.
