Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center
Outpatient Surgery Center at Sharp Chula Vista
The surgery you need, the way you want it.
We know that facing surgery of any kind, no matter how minor, can be unsettling. So we've created an environment to ease your mind and support your needs. The Outpatient Surgery Center at Sharp Chula Vista provides you with the highest quality surgeries and the best possible care — in one day.
A surgical experience like no other.
Our facility is staffed by the same exceptional physicians, registered nurses and experienced technicians that you will find in our hospital's main operating rooms. But here, we offer surgeries that allow you to go home the same day you come in.
From the moment you arrive, you will be treated with friendly, personalized service. We ensure your comfort with dimly lit rooms, heated blankets and warm, fuzzy socks. Portable DVD players and magazines are on hand to make your waiting time as pleasant as possible.
A day in the life of an outpatient.
A preoperative nurse will perform all assessments, lab work and necessary tests prior to your surgery. Any postsurgical prescriptions you have will be filled onsite before you leave to go home. Once home, we will check in with you and will be available, at any time, for follow-up questions or care.
