About Marisa Strobridge, DO
I decided to become a physician because I felt dedicated to helping others from a very young age. Throughout my life, this dedication has been furthered by the work I have done for people with special needs and treating my patients with dignity and respect. Some of my medical passions include women's health, mental health, OMT, pediatrics, and LGBTQIA+ medicine. I am dedicated to the pursuit of wellness both amongst my patients and within the medical community. I believe health equity and social determinants of health are just as important as healthcare itself and I plan to continue learning on these subjects throughout my career. I enjoy spending time with my husband, dog, friends and family by going to the beach, hiking, or playing board games. I also enjoy cooking, baking, dancing, and seeing live music.

Disappointment was for establishing care as my primary doctor, Mary Alexander retired at the end of 2024. I picked Marissa, first based on the fact that she was located in Santee where I live. I couldn't have chosen better. She was warm, engaging, and literally asked me questions about myself, who I am and what I'm all about. Now that's a first. She recently graduated her residency, and you can tell that she is full of excitement and loves doing what she does. What a delight.
