If using public transportation, take the 25/120 bus to Health Center Drive and Frost Street.
We also offer free transportation services for non-emergency medical appointments at most Sharp locations.
Contact or visit a patient.
For the safety of newborns in our care, only banded parents who do not have cold or flu symptoms are permitted to visit our NICU. All other visitors, including siblings, friends and relatives, are not permitted to visit the NICU at this time.
To reach a patient's room, call 858-939-3400 and ask for the patient by name or room number.
Each patient may have a support person stay in the patient's room overnight (must be over 18).
Eat with us.
Located on the first floor level of Sharp Memorial Hospital, our Mindful Cafe is available to patients, staff and visitors daily between 6:15 am and 3 am. The cafeteria offers a hot food buffet, made-to-order grill and deli, lunchtime action station, soup and salad bar and Simply to Go items.
Breakfast: 6:15 am to 10 am
Lunch: 10:30 am to 3:30 pm
Dinner: 4:30 pm to 8 pm
Night Owl: 8 pm to 3 am
The Sharp Memorial coffee cart, Espresso Express, is located in the main lobby and serves Starbucks coffee.
Weekdays: 5:30 am to 8 pm
Weekends: 6:30 am to 5 pm
Vending machines are located next to the cafeteria, in the family lounge on the third floor of Sharp Mary Birch and on the fourth floor of the Sharp Memorial Outpatient Pavilion.
The Sweet Labors Coffee Cart is located in front of Sharp Mary Birch and is open Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Guest meal vouchers allow Sharp Mary Birch visitors to order meals with the patient from the in-room menu for delivery directly to the patient's room. Meal vouchers can be purchased in any quantity for $5 each (cash or check only) at the concierge desk on the first floor Monday through Friday, 5 am to 10 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 am to 6 pm. Snacks and beverages are available 24 hours a day on the third floor.

If your loved one is staying with us, send a personalized e-card to brighten their day. Your message will be printed out and hand-delivered within one to two business days - completely free of charge.
